LOCATION

Altamont Lodge is situated in a peaceful and quiet location less than 2km from central Wanaka. Follow the Mt Aspiring Road south around the lakefront and the Lodge is well sign posted on the right hand side of the road. There is plenty of off-street parking onsite.

The lodge is less than 5 minutes drive from Wanaka town centre, or an easy 20 minute walk along the lake edge. Altamont Lodge is also ideally situated for easy access to all Wanaka’s ski areas in winter and the walking and biking trails in the spring, summer and autumn.

“We had a nice stay at Altamont Lodge. The room was super comfortable and the toilets very clean. The shared spaces (kitchen and living room) were super good! The place is also very well located and close to both the city centre and the main walking tracks. Staff is super friendly and helpful.”
